The Centre for Coaching is aligned with two great international institutions that support and inspire its activities – the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, a global top 50 and Africa’s leading business school, and New Ventures West, one of the pioneers of coach education since 1987 and a member of the Global Integral Coaching Alliance.
Our integral coach training institutions worldwide that are a part of the Global Integral Coaching Alliance were established through the pioneering efforts of New Ventures West, under the leadership of its founder, James Flaherty.
Global Integral Coaching Alliance
The Global Integral Coaching Alliance (GICA) holds an internationally recognized and acclaimed position in the coach education market. Integral Coach training centers operate around the world on 5 continents (North America, Africa, Europe, Asia and South America). The faculty includes people with backgrounds in sociology, philosophy, psychology, business, cognitive science, anthropology and integral studies, to name a few.

University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business:
The Centre for Coaching is a Specialist Centre at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business (UCT GSB) – Africa’s leading business school. Its courses form part of the GSB Executive Education suite of offerings and are informed by both academic rigour and coaching practice. The Centre is located at the GSB Campus, Cape Town, South Africa and integrates seamlessly into the tertiary institution’s activities.

Corporate interventions & solutions
Corporate interventions & solutions: The Centre for Coaching offers in-house and customised coaching and leadership development programmes for organisations wishing to transform or introduce and embed a coaching culture. One-on-one coaching interventions are also offered using our pool of certified coaches, all of whom have been trained in the NVW Integral methodology.
Associate Coach Network
Associate Coach Network: The Centre for Coaching uses a satellite business model to deliver on large projects. A select, hand-picked group of professional coaches, trained through our methodology, and contracted to us with stringent service level agreements, is constantly on standby, ready for deployment as and when necessary.
