Benefits of an Integral Approach
The more fully we can understand the forces coursing through a human life, the more powerful our coaching can be

The Integral approach to coaching and leadership development is future-oriented and focused on how to enable individuals to identify, prioritise, creatively problem-solve and implement choices around achieving their goals.
It works because it initiates a change in behaviour where the individual/coachee chooses – unprompted – to respond differently to the world around them. They are not forced or manipulated into doing so, but rather internalise the discoveries about themselves and use this new knowledge to make conscious decisions about their daily actions and habits. Coaches can certainly help clients attain their goals, however when we understand why we’re doing what we’re doing, the goals themselves may change. In Integral Coaching we are interested in supporting our clients to understand why, and what it is that only they can bring into the world, in order to enable them to develop the capacity to respond to what life hands them.
The Integral approach is effective specifically because it is designed not only to meet the unique needs and expectations of each individual, but also to deliberately build their skills and capabilities across all domains of their life. It can thus positively, effectively and permanently impact both the individual/coachee and the company they work for.
Over our 20+ years of coaching, we’ve identified a number of circumstances where coaching can help individuals overcome common challenges and increase their performance in life. A Coach is not a therapist, a friend, a mentor, or a counselor.
A Coach works closely with their coachee with the intent that the coachee will develop their own capabilities to achieve future outcomes. Through a series of observations and practices, a Coach can help to equip you with the insights, behaviours, and skills to bolster your performance in life
Do you see uncomfortable patterns emerging from your day-to-day activities?
For example, do you struggle to relate to your team? Always seem to have tension with your boss?
Do feelings of inadequacy get in the way of your performance and start to hijack your focus?
Are negative thoughts lowering confidence levels?
Are you dissatisfied with your current performance and have bigger dreams that you want to accomplish? Do you find it difficult to reach your goals?
Do you have time management problems or continuously feel behind? Are you struggling to find work-life balance?
If you can relate to any of these challenges, an integral approach to coaching may help you discover new capabilities and evoke excellence in yourself….and others.
