This recognition reflects the depth, rigour, ethical practice, and transformational impact that continue to define our Coaching for Development (CfD) programme, as well as the work of our broader coaching community.

Under the visionary leadership of Janine Ahlers, the programme continues to evolve to meet the changing leadership and coaching needs of organisations, leaders, and communities across South Africa and beyond.

Over the years, Coaching for Development has:

  • Been running for over 22 years (formerly known as the Associate Coaching Course, ACC)
  • Delivered 3-4 cohorts each year, certifying over 2 000 coaches, in addition to our Swiss operation
  • Successfully transitioned to a fully online offering since 2020, enabling us to bring together a diverse, global learning community from across Europe, Asia, the UK, US and Africa
  • Built a powerful network of reflective, ethical, and capable coaching practitioners
  • Continued to uphold the highest standards of professional coaching practice and leadership development

A special thank you to our faculty, mentors, associate coaches, alumni, participants, partners, and the entire CFC community who continue to contribute to this meaningful work.

And thank you to Lineke Haydock and Kumeshnee West for proudly representing the Centre for Coaching at the awards ceremony.
